Chris (Christian) Nelson
Chris specializes in the litigation of complex medical malpractice, commercial vehicle, and personal injury cases. He has spent over two decades defending healthcare providers, trucking companies, and commercial vehicle operators ranging from single owner-operator to large companies. Chris chairs our Transportation and Commercial Vehicle practice group.
Litigation is a significant part of Chris’ overall practice however he has successfully mediated dozens of complex multi-party cases. He has conducted bench and jury trials in both Utah and Idaho at state and district court levels.
In addition to a career focusing on medical malpractice defense and transportation law (commercial vehicle, trucking, public transportation, automobile personal injury), Chris has spent a significant portion of his time working in insurance law — specifically bad faith, UIM/UM, No-Fault/PIP.
