CAREER EXPERIENCE:
Practice is focused on Civil Litigation handling matters involving personal injury, business disputes, employment disputes, and disputed Estates. Trial work has included civil trials to jury verdict in personal injury cases for both plaintiffs and defendants, business disputes, and employment matters representing both employees and employers. Appellate practice has included cases brought to the Utah Court of Appeals, the Utah Supreme Court, and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
I received training through the American Arbitration Association, both as a mediator and as an arbitrator and was a member of their ADR Panels in the 1980's and 1990's. I have served as a sole arbitrator and in 3-person arbitration panels dealing with business disputes, personal injury claims, and property claims. In addition, I received mediator training through the Utah Dispute Resolution and have participated in mediations both as a mediator and as an advocate involving various business and personal injury issues.
