Wayne Z. Bennett
Mr. Bennett is a shareholder of Richards Brandt Miller Nelson. His practice focuses on business and estate planning. Specifically, he works with people and small businesses in need of structuring assistance, business planning, formation issues, contracts, long and short term development plans, tax related issues, and ultimately business exit strategies. Also, through his commercial work, Mr. Bennett has developed a strong clientele of local community banks. Mr. Bennett advises his bank clients on a broad range of topics relating to loan documentation and enforcement, business and employment issues that arise, and foreclosure and loan workouts.
When he first arrived at the firm his primary practice area was estate planning. While his practice areas have increased, he has maintained that core expertise and continues to help new and existing clients with all types of issues relating to estate taxation, wills and trusts, probate and the occasional dispute involving families and the estates of deceased relatives.
Mr. Bennett is the chair of the firm's business practice group and its estate planning group. He also serves on the firm's pension advisory committee.
