Cortney Kochevar
As an associate at Richards Brandt Miller Nelson, Ms. Kochevar's practice focuses on health care law, general litigation, and appellate practice. Ms. Kochevar, however, specializes in health care related litigation, including representation of doctors, hospitals, physicians' assistants, nurses and other health care providers. In law school, Ms. Kochevar worked as the lead articles' editor for the International Law and Management Review and clerked for Judge Royal Hansen in the Third District Court of Utah.
Ms. Kochevar currently serves on the Utah Young Lawyers' Division community service committee. As a member of the community service committee she has organized clothing drives that benefit the Road Home and assisted the YWCA in organizing its annual 5k Walk Against Violence. Ms. Kochevar also volunteers with CHOICE Humanitarian, a local organization that assists villages in developing countries to become self-sustaining through education, literacy, health care, and microenterprise.
